One of the quiet luxuries of staying on Goondoon Street is that food is sorted. There’s a restaurant next door, a main street of cafés and pubs at the gate, a supermarket within a short walk, and a barbecue by the pool for the nights you’d rather stay in.
Right next door — Thai
The simplest dinner in town: the Thai restaurant in the building next door. Walk out the door, walk in theirs. It’s the kind of convenience that makes a tired travel day feel easy.

Along Goondoon Street
Goondoon Street is Gladstone’s main street, and the motel sits right on it. Within an easy walk you’ll find cafés for breakfast and coffee, pubs for a counter meal and a cold one, and a spread of restaurants for dinner. Trading hours vary, especially on Sundays, so it’s worth a quick check before you head out — but you’ll rarely need to drive to eat.
Groceries & self-catering
If you’re self-catering — especially in the Family Apartment with its full kitchen — there’s a supermarket within a short walk along Goondoon Street for everything you need. Stock the fridge, fire up the barbecue, and make yourself at home.
On site — lounge bar, BBQ & pool
Some nights you just want to stay put. The motel has a guest lounge bar, a barbecue and picnic area in the grounds, and the saltwater pool a few steps from your door. Pick up something from the supermarket or next door, cook by the pool, and call it a night.
